It’s Women’s History Month, and in honor of it, I decided now is a good time to release a film I wrote about six years ago.
For me, women’s history is about the successes, the overcoming, the shared stories, the strength, and the power within us. There are issues we face that we may not always have the answers to—ones that force vulnerability and moments of having to figure it out and make tough decisions—but even in the seeking, there’s strength.
A Little You: A Fibroid Story was brought to life with a team of creatives, some of whom were also impacted by the issue of uterine fibroids. The film premiered at the 2023 Idlewild International Film Festival and the 2024 W.H.A.M, Festival in NYC. A Little You: A Fibroid Story explores one woman’s journey as she navigates uterine fibroids with her significant other by her side.
