My team and I are raising funds for the production and post-production of our new mockumentary, “Old.” I like to think of this project as a comedic celebration of my culture. I’ve written a lot about love, but not so much about identity. “Old” has given me an opportunity to merge the two, and there’s no better feeling than being able to produce this with family.
I’ve been writing almost my entire life, with the start and core of my inspiration being music. I was introduced to film 10+ years ago while developing and producing a collaborative project with co-workers. Since then I’ve worked on several projects from film to musical theatre. I’ve grown to love the idea of bringing so many ideas to life, and realizing that I am capable of seeing my dreams through—with help, of course.
