This couple’s business has been more about Andre than his longtime girlfriend, Alicia, whose passion seems to have been long forgotten. When an old acquaintance shows up and the person she thought she knew best begins to switch up on her, Alicia is reminded of the one thing she has always loved, and she is forced to decide whether or not she’ll finally make a move that will benefit Alicia.

“Love in a Different Key” originally debuted in front of three live audiences in New York City, in 2019. Four years later, the cast, which consisted of A Kay A, Bosa Mora, Norlette “LuNikx” Nichols, René Henry, Jazzy Mason, and Imani Gooden reunited for a second run, joined by a new addition known as Joshua “JChosen” Hunter.
The retelling of the story began in late 2023. The team is excited to share this romance tale in film form.
